Forest View 2024 Spring Hockey Season
Forest View Hockey is proud to announce our 2024 spring development program! Spring hockey is the perfect opportunity for players to continue their development in the sport while having time to play other spring sports. We are firm believers in multi-sport athletes and have designed our program to take that into consideration.
Our spring program will focus on providing quality and positive experiences while improving players’ individual skillsets such as, skating, shooting, stickhandling, team and individual hockey IQ. Our program will run for 7 weeks (4/8/2024 - 5/24/2024) plus tryouts (4/2/2024-4/5/2024) *8U will be 8 weeks, no tryouts.

12U Program
Our programs are designed for our highly competitive players looking for more commitment during the spring season.
Teams will have 3 on ice practices per week (21 total), possible 1 tournament and scrimmages scheduled on weekends as ice times permit.

14U Program
Our programs are designed for our highly competitive players looking for more commitment during the spring season.
Elite Team will have 3 on ice practices per week (21 total), 1 tournament and scrimmages scheduled on weekends as ice times permit.
Open Group will have 2 on ice practices per week (14 total) and possible scrimmages on weekends as ice times permit.

Tuesday, April 2nd, 6:45pm- 7:45pm and Wednesday, April 3rd, 5:30pm-6:30pm
14U Elite Program Fees and Registration ———— $600 + $50 tryout fee
14U Elite Tournament: April 11th -14th at South Suburban - $150 fee
14U Open Program Fees and Registration ———— $450 + $50 tryout fee
8U Program
Our 8U Program will have 2 on ice practices per week (16 total), scrimmages if ice and opponent available and a possible tournament.
No Tryouts.

Our 10U Program will have 2 on ice practices per week (14 total), scrimmages if ice and opponent available and possible 1 tournament.

Tuesday, April 2nd at 4:15pm-5:15pm and Thursday, April 4th at 4:15pm – 5:15pm

18U Program (2009/2008/2007/2006)
Our 18U Program (2009 birth year and older) will feature an Elite and Open group. Elite group will have 3 on ice practices per week (21 total), scrimmages if ice and opponent available.
Open group will have 2 on ice practices per week (14 total).

18U Tryouts (2 sessions with possible 3rd session $60):
Monday, March 11th 5:30pm-6:30pm + 8:00pm-9:00pm, Tuesday, March 12th 5:30pm-6:30pm + 8:00pm-9:00pm and Wednesday, March 13th 5:30pm-6:30pm + 8:00pm-9:00pm
Tryout sessions will be assigned by Peter Sejna
Elite Program Fees and Registration —————— $600 + $60 tryout fee

Spring Hockey Program Information
Tryouts will be held April 2nd – 5th for all age groups, excluding 8U. Tryout fee varies per age group.
All registrations include jerseys. Registration will close March 31st; no late registrations will be accepted. If your player cannot attend tryouts, please contact Jason MacPherson at Jason.MacPherson@ForestViewHockey.com

Scrimmages with other clubs (home and away): 8U: $15/player, 10U – 14U: $20/player, 18U $30/player
In-State Tournament: 8U: $100/player, 10U, 12U, 14U: $150/player, 18U: $175/player
In-State Tournament (Hotel Required): 10U, 12U, 14U: $200/player, 18U: $250/player
Out-of-State Tournament: 10U, 12U, 14U: $250/player, 18U: $275-$300/player

Goalies
Goalies will have (2) registration options after tryouts.
Option 1: Pay full registration fee that includes Monday Goalie Session with coach Vlad, 5:30pm-6:30pm
Option 2: Pay for spring session only (no goalie session) for a discount rate, rate varies per team
