MEET THE COACHES

  • JASON MACPHERSON

    FOREST VIEW HOCKEY FOUNDER + HEAD COACH

    Originally from Ottawa, Ontario, Jason is a former player for Arapahoe Warriors, Banff Hockey Academy and University of Wyoming.

    His coaching career includes time at Colorado Thunderbirds, Arvada Hockey Association 12UAA/14UAA (3 state championships, 3rd place at Tier 2 USA Hockey National Championships 2021), Lafayette Locomotive 12UAA and currently Okanagan 13OAAA, he also spent time as the head instructor for Power Play Unlimited and skills coach for GPS Hockey School.

  • DEON KIDD

    Starting coaching in Chicago at Evanston Youth Hockey Association, was the head coach for both the 12U and 14U team. During that time Deon was also the Assistant Coach at Saint Ignatius High School. Was also a coach for GPS (Grunnah Power Skating). Deon spent 2 years coaching AAA hockey for Rocky Mountain RoughRiders. Most recently Deon was a skills coach for Ignite Hockey and Perfect Skating.

    Deon played Junior Hockey in the WSHL for the Jr Bison, from there he played for Williston State College. His pro hockey career took him back to home to Germany where he played in the DEL 2 for the Heilbronner Falken, he also played for the Hannover Indians and Hannover Scorpions in Germany 3

  • PETER SEJNA

    Born and raised in Liptovsky Mikulas, Slovakia. Attended Colorado College, and in 2003 won the Hobey Baker Award. Won 2 bronze medals with the Slovak National Team in the 1999 Ice Hockey World Junior Championship and 2003 Ice Hockey World Championship.

    Played in the St. Louis Blues system for 49 NHL games. He returned to Europe and spent seven seasons playing in the Swiss A League.

    2002-2003 NCAA (WCHA) First All-Star Team, NCAA (WCHA) Player of the Year, NCAA (West) Frist All-American Team, NCAA Top Collegiate Player (Hobey Baker Award) , WCHA Regular Season Champion (Colorado College Tigers), World Championship Bronze Medal (Slovakia)

  • CHRIS EAGLES

    Chris Eagles is the son of longtime NHLer Mike Eagles (853 NHL games). As a player, Chris grew up playing Midget AAA hockey for the Fredericton Canadiens. He played Junior A with the Moncton Beavers of the MJHL, and was drafted by the Rimouski Oceanic of the QMJHL in 2008. Chris served as a coach with the Centaurus HS Warriors where he was head JV coach, and an assistant with the Varsity program. He is currently the head coach of the Lafayette Locomotive 16UAA team, and head regional scout with the Rockland Nationals of the Central Canadian Junior A leage.

  • CHANCE UBEL

    Chance played for Centaurus High School before going on to play two years of junior hockey for the Lake Erie Eagles in the CPJHL. He then went on to play ACHA D1 for SUNY Cortland. Currently, Chance coaches Lafayette Locomotive 10UA.

  • LUKE HARRISON

    Luke is a Colorado native, playing his club hockey at Arvada Youth Hockey Association.

    After aging out of playing he immediately started coaching and pursuing a Bachelor's in Sport Management.

    After graduation began working with Colorado Avalanche Amateur Hockey Development. Luke has coaching experience with Arvada Hockey Association, Lafayette Locomotive and Colorado Yeti. He loves coaching and helping players get better!
